SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES: Homelessness & Menstruation
WHAT: We will be partnering with Happy Periods and addressing the intersection of menstruation & homelessness. Service will consist of distributing packages containing menstrual & hygienic products such as pads, tampons, and wipes! Oftentimes, many people don't consider groups who lack the necessary resources such as pads, tampons, or even areas to clean themselves when they get their period. WHEN: Friday, Feb. 2nd (5:30PM - 9:00PM) & Saturday, Feb. 3rd (10:30AM - 5:30PM) WHERE: On-campus for pre-trip Education, Orientation, & Training sessions and post-trip Reflection.
